ZOMG it's a background!

Another old pic. Gawd, I think I had more drive to draw back then than I do now. And, surprise, another Link and Aryll one. This one actually needed some photoshopping before I was comfortable with posting it; I had a bad habit of drawing wide-set walleyed faces, especially on the kids, but it looks a touch better now.

The grass is a little confusing, but better than other attempts at the time. I like the Evening Primroses in the background, too, though I'm not sure they're native to the environment. I ended up picking up my Edible Field Guide for photo reference, and probably picked out random seashore plants. The other one is a mallow.

Because of my idiocy at the time, I have to point out the damned bee in the corner, because making key features dark in a bright picture is NOT the best way to draw attention to them. Bah.

Why is Link's hair so hard to figure out? I think I gave up trying to draw it like that.
